Boosting Strategies of Link Spamming

چکیده
Nowadays people become more and more reliant on search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN etc. for their information needs. In order to take the economic advantage of high search engine ranking, web spamming emerges. Among the various kinds of web spamming techniques, link spamming boosts the target page by manipulating the links in the web graph. In this paper, we first point out some weak points of result in [6]. Then we propose a set of link spamming strategies to boost the PageRank score of certain target page in the single target spam farm model. Our results are strictly proved by using Markov chain theory and verified by experiments. In all, our strategy will be helpful for the design of spam farm structure, which can efficiently boost the target page and not easy to be detected by the search engine.
